Sensex up 30 pts in early trade
The benchmark BSE index starts the week on a positive note on fresh buying by funds and retail investors.

The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark, Sensex, rose by about 30 points in early trading on Monday on fresh buying by funds and retail investors in blue-chip stocks.
The 30-share sensitive index, which had lost 37.49 points on Friday, recovered by 29.27 points at 12,266.15 in the first five minutes of trading.
In similar fashion, the Nifty index on the wide-based National Stock Exchange was up by 24.60 points at 3,568.65.
All BSE-30 shares and NSE-50 shares were in the green with moderate gains, lifting the benchmark index higher.
