Sensex up over 50 pts in early trade

The 30-share index rises to 13883.67 as index related stocks like Reliance Industries and BHEL have gained.

The BSE benchmark Sensex continued to rise in early trade on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Monday on heavy buying by funds gaining over 50 points.

The 30-share index rose by 50.40 at 13883.67 in first five minutes of trading as index related stocks like Reliance Industries, BHEL, TATA Motor, TCS, Larsen and Toubro and Gujarat Ambuja Cement gained on the higher side.

Similarly, the widebased National Stock Exchange, Nifty rose 10.50 at 4008.10.
