Separatist leader and Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party Shabir Shah has been taken into custody under Public Safety Act, official sources said on Saturday.
Shah was detained on Friday at a nursing home of government medical college here, where he was undergoing
treatment for kidney and skin related ailments, the sources said.

Guards have been deployed at the hospital room of the separatist leader by the authorities of Kotbalwal jail, they said.
