Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa on Friday said the serial bomb blasts in the city was a "planned conspiracy to vitiate the atmosphere".

"It's a planned conspiracy to vitiate the atmosphere and to try to create confusion among people", he said.

"There is no need to panic. It's a planned conspiracy. I appeal to people to maintain calm", he said.
