Seven day annual car festival concludes

The seven-day annual car festival 'Sapthotsav' of the famous Sri Krishna Temple in Udupi concluded on Wednesday with 'Bramha Rathotsav' of the presiding deity Lord Krishna.

The seven-day annual car festival 'Sapthotsav' of the famous Sri Krishna Temple in Udupi concluded on Wednesday with 'Bramha Rathotsav' (chariot pulling) of the presiding deity Lord Krishna.

'Bramha Rathotsav' was followed by 'Avabrhuth Snan' (holy dip) in Madhwa Sarovar, the main temple tank.

A large gathering assembled in the temple to witness the 'Rathotsav' as the idol of Lord Krishna was taken around in the 'Bramharath'.

After the 'Bramharath', clay idols of Lord Krishna was immersed in the main temple tank.
