The body of lieutenant Ameek Kumar was recovered from the site of the snow avalanche yesterday, official sources said.

The snow avalanche had swept away seven army personnel including two officers on Monday while they were on a search cum rescue mission, trying to trace three missing porters a day earlier.

While bodies of all army personnel have been recovered, there is no trace of the missing porters who are feared dead.
