The mishap occurred when the tractor driver lost balance over the wheel and the vehicle fell into a valley, killing four persons on the spot, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Rural, Anil Singh Kushwaha told reporters.
The other three succumbed to injuries at a government hospital in Gwalior, he said.
The victims, all residents of Khedia village in Bhind district, were on their way to Ratanpur Devi Temple on the occasion of Navaratri, Kushwaha said.
The deceased have been identified as Sheela (38), Maya (58), Lado (50), Chotibai (25), Chatur Singh (60), Uday Singh (35) and Mansingh (15), police said adding that further investigation is on.
