Shahi Imam Maulana Mufti M Mukarram Ahmed condemned Mumbai terror-attack during the Friday speech.

In an apparent reference to Pakistan, he said, Muslims of this country were against the country that could be involved in such attacks.

"On November 26 when Mumbai attack took place, ATS chief at the first movement was killed along with his associate officers. If Antulay asks for an inquiry in these killings then there should not be any hesitation," the Shahi Imam said, adding "I demand a high level probe by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court of India".

The former ATS chief had received threat to his life for probing the Malegaon blast case in which Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Lt Col Shrikant Purohit were arrested, which was not liked by Sangh Parivar people, he added.

The Shahi Imam also asked the government not to accept Antulay's resignation.

On the incident of shoe being thrown at US President George W Bush by an Iraqi journalist, he said it was the hidden anger of the innocent people of Iraq.
