BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha dared the party on Wednesday to act against him after its Bihar unit urged seniors to rein in the leader for anti-party activities following the poll drubbing in the state.
The actor-turned politician also backed former home secretary and the party’s Ara MP RK Singh who had earlier spoken against the choice of BJP candidates and said the party had given tickets to people with criminal background.
“RK Singh, former Home Secy & a proud Bihari Sher (a tough nut to crack) is right. No one has the guts (or DNA) to give us a ‘fatkar’,” said Sinha in a fresh tweet.
“It’s just bravado of the ill advised to talk of action. The time is for reaction, understanding, apology & satisfaction of party godfathers,” he tweeted.
Sinha’s comments are being seen as a reaction to the state BJP’s verbal communication to the top brass in New Delhi that unless action is initiated against him, discipline would become a casualty in the organisation.

Responsibility must be fixed on individuals for corrective actions,” he tweeted.
Senior party leaders in the state refused to comment on his tweets.
