“If some people misconstrue it for rebellion and if voicing truth is an act of revolt, then yes, I am guilty of being a rebel,” said Sinha.

Speaking at a function in Nagpur, he reiterated that he was a part of the BJP and would always remain in the party. “What wrong have I committed? All I have done is point out the flaws. If I demand containment of tur dal prices, is it an anti-party activity?” he asked and dared the party leadership to initiate action against him.

Sinha added, “The BJP is the first and perhaps the last political party for me. I joined it when it was a two-MP party and stayed on to see it grow and gain full majority at the Centre. No one can doubt my loyalty and contribution to the BJP.”

On his proposed meeting with RSS leaders in Nagpur, Sinha said the RSS gave a healing touch to the party and its members whenever they were hurt.
