Amid possibility of being shifted out of Kerala Raj Bhavan, the state’s governor and former chief minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit on Wednesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Rajnath Singh.
After meeting Singh, Dikshit denied receiving any hint from the Centre to resign from governorship. On being asked whether some one in the government has nudged her to resign, she said, “No.” The three-term former chief minister of Delhi also added that she was not aware of any move to transfer her out of Thiruvananthapuram Raj Bhavan.
Asked whether she was aware of any move by the Centre to transfer her from Kerala to a state in Northeast, Dikshit said she did not know what would happen in future.
“I do not know what will happen in next 10 days or 10 months,” she said. She met Prime Minister Narendra Modi before meeting Singh.
