Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat will pay a three-day visit to Trinidad and Tobago from November 9 to 11.

Announcing this on Saturday, Trinidad and Tobago Trade and Industry Minister Ken Valley said the country will seek to secure investment agreements with India, especially for joint venture projects and for local investors who want to go to India.

"We are encouraging our manufacturers to seek joint venture investments with more seasoned players," Valley said.
Trinidad and Tobago currently enjoys some $28 million worth of investment from India in areas like technology, movie and pharmaceutical industries.
