WIPRO-BPO, a recognised software company conducted a campus interview at the NRI Engineering College recently to hold a campus recruitment drive. About 350 students from various engineering colleges of Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior and Indore took part in the process.

WIPRO-BPO, a recognised software company conducted a campus interview at the NRI Engineering College recently to hold a campus recruitment drive. About 350 students from various engineering colleges of Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior and Indore took part in the process.

At the end of the process the company selected six students of the host college. They include Umang Vishwakarma, Nupur Uniyal, Richa Shrivastava, Ramya Pillai, Neha Lal and Anuradha Shroti, all of 2006 batch.

Shikshakarmis meet Chief Minister

A DELEGATION of shikshakarmis met Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at his residence here and apprised him of their problems. School Education minister Narottam Mishra was also present. The shikshakarmis put demand that PF be deducted from their salaries and their service conditions be improved.

The Chief Minister assured the delegation that suitable action would be taken after the Government receives recommendations of the Dubey Committee on shikshakarmis. Secretary to Chief Minister Iqbal Singh Bais was also present.

Lecture on Ayurveda

A GUEST lecture was delivered by Ravi Jain, CEO of Vostak and Wilcure Remedies at the Sagar Institute of Research and Technology on Friday. The lecture was on `Role of Ayurveda in Present Scenario’. He explained about different aspects of Ayurveda and how the system could cure most dreaded diseases.

He also gave information about the increasing scope of Pharmacy in the field of Ayurveda. SIRT chairman Sanjeev Agrawal, who was present also stressed the importance of Ayurveda. Pharmacy College principal Dr A K Singhai also spoke. Madhvi Sisodia proposed vote of thanks.
