Right wing Hindu group Shri Ram Sene today burnt Valentine Day cards to protest the celebration of February 14, terming it as a manifestation of the western culture.

Led by state SRS President Rajiv Mahajan, Sene activists raised slogans against the celebration of the occasion in front of the Press Club in Jammu and burnt a number of Valentine Day cards.

Talking to reporters, Mahajan said the organization is not against the emotion of love, but is bitterly opposed to its "vulgar" display.
