The twins, both males and born on Wednesday, were joined at the abdomen and had a common lever. One of the twins had no anus and the alimentary canal was incompletely formed, the sources said.
The twins were separated after a four-hour surgery on Thursday.
Parents refused to take bodies of the twins to the burial ground alleging that the separation was hasty.
