Around 170 sikh pilgrims came to Nanded on Sunday on a religious trip in two special reserved bogies from Amritsar.

After their visit to the city, the pilgrims were awaiting at the Manmad station to get their bogies attached to an Amritsar-bound train, police said.

The central railway officials however denied to fix their reserved compartments to the train stating that the train already had sufficient compartments.

Enraged for making them wait for lengthy hours, the Sikhs organised a 'rail-roko' raising their swords on the railway track at Manmad, they said.

However, their bogies were later attached to Mangla express in the evening, police added.
