At least six people were killed and 10 injured when a 72-year-old building in south Mumbai collapsed early on Wednesday due to heavy rain, fire service officials said.

Datta Apartments, situated in the congested Bhindi Bazaar area of the city, collapsed at about 5.00 a.m. Fire officials said six people had been found dead but the toll may rise since more might be trapped under the debris.
