Six killed, 12 injured in mishap in UP

Six people were killed and 12 others injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling collided with a truck on Karnal-Meerut highway, police said in Muzaffarnagar today.

The incident occurred on Monday near Kabaraut village in Prabhudhnagar district.

Six people, including a woman and two children, died on the spot, while the 12 injured were rushed to a local hospital where some of them are stated to be in serious condition.
