Six-year-old boy, playing with pistol, kills sister

A six-year-old boy toying with his uncle’s pistol unknowingly shoots his three-year-old sister in Borenda village of Durg district, reports Ejaz Kaiser.

A six-year-old boy who was toying with his uncle’s pistol unknowingly shot his three-year-old sister. The girl died on the spot.

The incident occurred in Borenda village of Durg district. According to Durg SP Dipanshu Kabra, Jay Singh and his family had gone to attend a social function at his brother’s residence. His two children, Harsh and Shruti, were playing with the other children in the locality when Harsh found the pistol in an open almirah. While playing with the pistol, which was fully loaded, he happened to put his finger on the trigger and pulled it. Shruti, who was sitting just in front of her brother, was hit directly on her head.
