A six-year-old girl sleeping with her labourer-parents on the street was abducted and raped at Tanakpur in Jambhavade district, police said today.

The girl, who went missing on Sunday night, was later found in the bushes in an unconscious state. She was rushed to a hospital where her condition was stated to be serious, police said.

Police are clueless about the perpetrators of the crime. The family was sleeping in a street near the railway station, when the incident occurred, police said.
