This was stated by a noted career guide and an almuni of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-K), Pramod Joshi who was here to deliver a talk on ‘Personality Traits Needed in Industry and How to Add Value in Work,’ at ‘Techkriti’ 06’ being organised by the IIT-K.

Later, talking to the Hindustan Times, he said the society, which expected a lot from the students, considered them trouble-shooters. “Every section of the society was dependent upon the youth power,” he added.

The institutes, where the students receive their primary to higher education, expected that they should promote the interest of their institutes, too.

“The industries, too, need their help and expect that the students should contribute their knowledge to the growth of industries,” he said.

“This situation causes frustration among the students but they should be discouraged. The only solution to their problem is that they should follow the concept of PEAK which stands for potential, efficiency, attitude and knowledge.

All these four elements were required to be developed in one’s personality to win success,” he said.

Joshi who had come to the ongoing Techkriti Event at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, delivered a talk on “Personality Traits needed in Industry and how to add value in work.” The talk was attended by a large number of students.
