Concerned over the price rise, Congress President Sonia Gandhi has convened a meeting of the Chief Ministers of the party-ruled states to discuss ways and means to check it.

The exact date of the meeting would be decided by Monday.

Highly placed Congress sources said that a conclave of Chief Ministers of the party-ruled states was also being planned in a couple of months.
