SP to support bill on quota to minorities

"If the Congress is sincere about welfare of minorities, it should provide them reservation by brining in a bill to this effect in the Parliament," SP leader and UP Urban Development minister Mohammad Azam Khan told reporters.

Critising the Sachar Committee report, he accused the Congress of "exploiting" minorities for its vested interests and said it had done not done enough to ensure their well being.
