Falling for the hottest man in town, attractions, infatuations and so-called crushes are bound to happen in young age. It's inevitable. And this hold true for our spice girls from the glam circuit as well.
For most sirens, their first crushes were none other than the hunk actors of their time. Some even confessed that they entered filmdom to get their Mr Right.
Very few know that Amrita Arora had her first crush on Akshaye Khanna. Similarly, Sameera was madly in love with Salman Khan when she was only 12. While Pakistani actress Meera loves Salman Khan but wants her dream man to be like Shah Rukh Khan, sizzling property Rakhi claims to be obsessed with Amitabh Bachchan.
Like them, there are many others who have joined the HiFI (Hindi Film Industry) to find a soul mate. Says Saaki babe Sameera Reddy, "When I was a teenager, I was so much in love with Salman Khan that I had his posters all over my room. I used to write to my sister in New York that I had a crush on an actor who has just debuted in a film called Maine Pyar Kiya. In fact, I don't regret doing my first film with the Khan camp. I loved working with them."Amrita Arora talks about her puppy love with Akshaye Khanna. "I had a crush on him but I never expressed it. In fact, when I joined the film industry I came to know that he is a very serious person so I never went ahead and told him what I felt. And by the time I got an opportunity to do so, I fell in love with someone else. Now, I am enjoying my time with Usmaan Afzal and I have no problem admitting it. It's a thing of the past now," states Amrita.
While Sameera and Amrita were fond of people of same age, Rakhi Sawant claims her crush was little weird than others. This is what she has to say: "I always had crushes on older men. First, it was Amitji now it is Mahesh Bhatt. I think my natural choice is mature people. Falling in love with stars is nothing new. In my young days, I had felt that stars used to control a lot of our lives. What we eat and wear and also our styles used to have an impression of the celebrities we admire. That's why crush on stars happen automatically," says the Mirchi girl.
