The statement released on behalf of Minogue and Martinez has said that the decision to split was ‘mutual’ and added that they would remain ‘close friends’.
"They have made it clear that the decision to go their separate ways was mutual and amicable. The two remain very close friends,” the Daily Mail quoted the statement, as saying.
The statement also mentioned that both were saddened by the media’s false accusations of disloyalty.
"The media's false accusations of disloyalty have saddened them both.," the statement added.
The revelation has come weeks after rumours were rife that Martinez was involved with several women.
The French actor was reportedly seen at Hollywood's Chateau Marmont with Israeli model Sarai Givati and lately with actress Michelle Rodriguez.
