Sports meet begins at BITS Pilani

Even the incessant rains could not dim the enthusiasm of the gathered athletes. "Though nature playing its own game," Professor KE Raman, deputy director (administration), who inaugurated the event, referring to the unexpected downpour said, "BITSians, as hosts, have enough warmth in their hearts to brighten your spirits."

Dr S Venkateswaran, guest of honour, futher cheered the crowd when he declared, "Sports brings upon in a person a vital attitude required for facing life's challenges which cannot be substituted by academics."
