The road was opened after the snow was cleared, a spokesman of the traffic department said in Srinagar.

The national highway was closed on Sunday following heavy snowfall on either side of the Jawahar tunnel.

However, air traffic continued to remain disrupted for the second consecutive day on Monday due to poor visibility at the airport, leading to the cancellation of three flights.
