Spectators witnessed a thrilling match between St Paul School and Red Rose School. After winning the toss, Red Rose skipper Aniruddha Sharma decided to bat first. Aniruddha, who opened the innings for the team, played well. However, he could not complete first half-century. St Paul skipper Yash Dubey bowled him at the score of 49 runs.

Next batsman Faizan Ahmed also played responsibly. Like his skipper, he lost his wicket to Yash when he was three runs short of half-century. But the lower order failed to carry forward the momentum and lost wickets without making any significant contribution to the total. Red Rose scored 172 runs in the stipulated 35 overs. Robin George was the most successful bowler for the St Paul’s team. He scalped four wickets.

MP Seed and Farm Development Corporation Chairman Mahendra Singh Yadav and additional Commissioner K K Chauhan presented the man of the match award. On the occasion, BDCA Chairman Dhruv Narayan Singh, organising secretary Aruneshwar Singhdeo, organising president Vijesh Lunawat, Arun Tyagi, Sushil Singh, Rajiv Saxena, Uttam Thakur and others were present.

Man of the match:
Robin George
