On top of the charter was the demand to intensify campaign for elimination of dreaded dacoit Rambabu Gadaria and his gang. Scindia urged the Chief Minister to seek Centre’s help for campaign if required. He offered all possible help to this end.

The Congress MP, who was accompanied by a group of tribals, also raised the issue of forced eviction of tribals in Shivpuri.

The Chief Minister assured Scindia that eviction would be immediately stopped. Scindia also apprised the Chief Minister that despite the Centre’s approval to open five mines in Shivpuri, work in this direction was stalled for want of the State’s nod.

They also discussed the issue of construction of over-bridge and an under-bridge at Guna railway station and construction of some roads in the district.

Scindia raised the issue of shortage of staff at Guna Cantt Hospital and another civil hospital. He further urged the Chief Minister to fix a date for meeting of Chanderi Task Force and informed that Chanderi Ecology Project was not taking off in the absence of matching grant from the State. Fund has been sanctioned by the Centre for the project.
