A Class VII student has landed in hospital after his school teacher allegedly beat him up for not finishing his homework, police said today.

Officials of Salboni High School lodged a complaint with the police against the teacher for beating up Srikant Mahato wednesday night . The child is now in a stable condition at the hospital.
