Student killed, 25 others injured as bus falls into khud in Haryana

One student was killed while 25 others were injured when the bus carrying them fell into a khud near Pinjore’s Virat Nagar in Haryana on Thursday, police said.

The Haryana Roadways bus fell into 30-feet deep khud on Mallan road, Pinjore,they said.Most of those travelling in the bus were students from nearby colleges.

Seventeen of the injured were taken to Panchkula’s Civil Hospital where one student identified as Manjit Kaur was brought dead, a hospital official said.

The official said that one seriously injured had been taken to PGIMER here while the condition of the rest was said to be out of danger.
