Students, lorry drivers fast in support of Hazare

Over 500 students of Bharathiar University in Coimbatore today observed one-day fast in its campus in support of Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement.

The students wanted the government to come out with a strong Lokpal bill saying future generations wanted a corruption-free society, police said.

Meanwhile, a group of lorry drivers observed one-day fast in nearby Mettupalayam, in support of Hazare, police said.
