Students miss precious classes

KGMU UNDERGRADUATE students have lost seven precious days of studies. With a month of summer vacation, 10-day winter vacations, 52 Sundays and several other holidays there is little time for UG students to go on strike.

However, they are on strike since the death of their classmate Deepak Agarwal.

On the other hand, post-Graduate students need 80 per cent attendance. They too have gone on strike seven times in the last one-year. Their greater loss is not been able to study patients who came during the strike period.

“Every patient is of particular academic value for students. Once he is gone or treated a repetition is not possible. Unless, PG students have experience of practical cases they are not perfect,” said another teacher, condemning the frequent strikes by KGMU students.
