Four students from SDM Institute of Management Development (SDM-IMD) in Mysore will travel to Shanghai where they will pursue the course 'Responsible Global Leader Workshop'. This UN-sponsored course is being held at Shanghai University for the last seven years.

"The course will focus on areas like business modelling, strategic marketing, organisational behaviour and decision making," Rajesh Haldipur, Dean and Professor of SDM-IMD, told a group of visiting journalists.

SDM-IMD has entered into a partnership with Shanghai University to enable its students to pursue the three-month-long course beginning this September.

Alok Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, Bhargavi Bhatt and Lakshmipriya of SDM-IMD will travel to Shanghai University later this month.

Students from 29 countries will attend the programme, he said. The UN-sponsored course has been held in Shanghai University for the last seven years. The course allows students to work as paid interns. It will also include a special paper on 'Business Etiquettes in China'.
