Pradip Mahto, the younger brother of former Jharkhand Deputy Chief Minister Sudhir Mahto, was found hanging at his residence here today.
Police suspected it to be a case of suicide.

"We do not see any reason that prompted him to take such an extreme step," said Sudhir Mahto.
41-year-old Pradip Mahto is survived by wife and a son and a daughter.
