Sun Micro to be Tata Sky's vendor

Sun Microsystems to provide networking products and support for Tata Sky's direct-to-home television service.

Tata Sky Ltd, said on Monday that Sun Microsystems Inc would provide networking products and support for its direct-to-home television service.

Tata Sky, a joint venture between India's diversified Tata Group and News Corp's Star, plans to launch its service in India by mid-2006.
