Moninder Singh, who was admitted to the ICU of the Civil Hospital on Sunday night following complaints of chest pain, was discharged on Monday morning and brought back to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL).

He was taken back to the Civil Hospital again late in the evening as he reported a high sugar level.

FSL Director Dr JM Vyas told waiting newspersons that Moninder was sent back to the hospital as his sugar level was to be monitored on Monday night so that his narco-analysis could be done on Tuesday.

Dr Vyas was hopeful that the narco-analysis of Moninder would be completed on Tuesday if he remained fit for the same. The narco-analysis of Moninder’s servant Surinder lasted about seven hours with brief breaks in between. Dr Vyas said that Surinder was cooperative during the procedure.

Asked about the revelations made by Surinder, the FSL Director said that he would be in a position to answer that question only after anaylysing all the data gathered through the polygraph, brain-mapping and narco-analysis tests.
