To see the world, you have to close your eyes, To hear yourself you have to shut your ears, writes Ridhima Thakral, New Delhi.

To see the world, you have to close your eyes,
To hear yourself you have to shut your ears,
In the bright light do you manage to find darkness?
And what you then get is a feeling of numbness.

Face upon face, mask upon mask,
Its like almost everyone has an ulterior task,
In this world which is so selfish,
Don't you sometimes wonder who your real self is?

Being your real self will never be easy,
Specially in a world where hating comes naturally,
Either you can stand up for your beliefs
Or seclude yourself and be a part of the hypocrisy.
