A suspected member of Abu Salem gang wanted in several cases of murder and extortion, was arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police on Wednesday from Khadra area here with fake passports.

STF officials said gangster Ahtesham was arrested on a tip off and two fake passports, driving licence and fake Indian currency notes were recovered from him.
Several cases of murder and extortion were pending against him.
The arrested gangster was allegedly in touch with Abu Jaish, brother of don Abu Salem, the officials added.
