Suzuki Powertrain, which manufactures diesel engines for Maruti cars, axed union president Sube Singh Yadav, secretary Mukesh Kumar and executive member Vivek Lakehra for their alleged anti-organisational activities during the strike at the Maruti Suzuki plant last year.

According to an internal inquiry by Powertrain, the leaders had instigated labour unrest.
