Taking a cue from the entertainment industry, Star News is going to find news anchors through their new show, Star Anchor Hunt, which kicks off on March 28.

The idea for this, according to the channel, is to provide an opportunity for ‘a common Indian to do something uncommon’.

A male and female anchor will be selected through group discussions, a written test and camera auditions.

The finals of 3-month hunt will be held in Delhi after the show covers ten cities, which include Indore, Nagpur, Allahabad, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad and Jaipur.
