Karan Goyal, son of a taxi driver Mukesh Goyal hails from Uttar Pradesh. Karan lost his mother Sunita few years ago when he was in 8th class and lived with his material uncle in Thai mohalla Palwal in Haryana since then. “My first preference is to get admission in IIT Delhi, which I am sure I will,” he told HT.
