Roja, who unsucessfully contested from the Chandragiri Assembly seat in the recent elections, met chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy at his camp office this evening.

The actor was apparently unhappy over the party fielding her from Chandragiri, where she lost to state minister Galla Aruna. She wanted to contest frrom Nagari seat in the district but the party thought otherwise.

During her stint in TDP, she ran a state-wide campaign against Belt shops (cheap liquor shops) which were ruining families and causing hardships to women. She had then blamed the Rajasekhar Reddy government for the problem

Earlier this month, Roja had denied that she was joining Congress after Chief Minister Rajasekhar Reddy during a casual discussion with mediapersons revealed that he had received feelers from Roja to join the ruling party.
