Ten killed as bus falls into ditch

Ten passengers have been killed and 17 others injured when the bus they were travelling in fell in to a ditch near village Saural.

Ten passengers were killed and 17 others injured when the bus they were travelling in fell in to a ditch near village Saural, about 100 km from Almora, police said on Tuesday.

The bus was going towards Ramanagar when the mishap took place on Monday.

District Magistrate Nidhi Mani Tripathi has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident.

Chief Minister BC Khanduri has expressed grief over the incident.
