It took nearly two hours to remove the bodies from the vehicles at the crash site near the town of Kohat, some 70 kilometres south of Peshawar, police official Noor Rehman told the agency.

"Ten people travelling in a pickup vehicle are confirmed dead, while the condition of four is serious," he said.
