"The entire Mumbai Indians team was present at the private cake-cutting and dinner event at the small party. Mr Mukesh and Mrs Nita Ambani and his wife were also present. Everyone wished him well," team sources said on Saturday.

The party lasted till half past midnight, they said.

The MI captain is however a doubtful starter for Sunday's Indian Premier League final against Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings after splitting a webbing in his right hand while fielding in the semi-final against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 22.

"The team will take a call on his availability later this evening but it would not be revealed," the sources indicated.
