Terrorist killed in J&K gunbattle

An unidentified terrorist was killed in a gunbattle with security forces in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning.

Acting on a tip off, troops cordoned Magam area of the district at around 7.30 am on Wednesday morning. In the ensuing encounter, one terrorist was killed, defence sources said.

The gunbattle was continuing when reports last came in.
