While natural calamities like volcanic eruptions, flash floods, landslides and tsunamis were previously believed to have led to their extinction, scientists today don’t rule out the possibility of a supernova explosion that could have triggered their end. Hopefully, the discovery of the fossils of the two-legged carnivorous dinosaur in China will shed more light on dinosaurs’ habitats and help scientists unearth the real cause that led to their extinction.
