Third real broadband center of Reliance Infocomm opened
SUSHILA CHANDRA, wife of Zee TV Chairman Subhash Chandra, inaugurated the third real broadband centre of Reliance Infocomm at Reliance WebWorld, Sayaji Plaza.Addressing a press conference through video conferencing, Reliance India Mobile business head for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Orissa Anil Vajpai said that this is the sixth Web World of Madhya Pradesh that has entered the broad band with a broad width of 768 kbps.

The service is available in 14 cities all over India and each WebWorld is planned for three modules that include customer convenience centre, coffee bar (yet to be started at Indore centres) and a real broadband centre. Vajpai said that through the WebWorld they want to educate the children and women what broad band is all about through
various programmes specially designed for them. The facility of video conferencing at the broad band simplifies the arrangement of conferences cutting down the cost for the company also. Vajpai added that the facility is available in three other cities of Madhya Pradesh that include Gwalior, Jabalpur and Bhopal.
Vajpai said it is under a programme manner that company is rolling out its WebWorld centres in major cities and in the second broader phase the company will cover the B and C cities of the country also.
Reliance WebWorld in charge for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Sandeep A Arora while detailing about the broad band said that the customers are being extended a speed of 256 kbps that can go upto 300-400 kbps depending upon the requirement.
Arora said that under the various packages to surf the cost comes down to Rs 15 per hour, in all company has four WebWorld in the city but the facility of video conferencing is yet to be started at Jawahar Marg WebWorld. Arora said that facilities that are being offered through the broad band include real high speed internet facility, video conferencing, video chat, multi-player online gaming, digital personalised music, digital theatre and digital photo imaging. In the country 250 WebWorld are operational which will progressively be increased to 2000 stores across 600 cities.
