Traditional craftsmen in Maharashtra have crafted these idols. They are made using a base of natural clay and are designed according to scriptural code. They are then painted using natural pigments such as turmeric, red earth geroo and earth from Multan.

Bombay Store has also undertaken an initiative to educate people and children about the benefits of using eco-friendly Ganeshas.

The eco-friendly Ganeshas are available at The Bombay Store outlets at P.M.Road, Phoenix Mill (Lower Parel), and Inorbit Mall, (Malad and Vashi) at a price ranging from Rs 375 to Rs 2,500. Customers can also place orders online.
